One thing I love about buying event tickets is the convenience of purchasing them. I remember when Sam Goody and F.Y.E were Ticketmaster locations and I was bummed when F.Y.E was no longer an authorized Ticketmaster Retail location. I had one conveniently in my neighborhood mall and I always would walk in and purchase tickets to an event I wanted to see and choose exactly where I wanted to be seated. You know I can be very funny about where I sit at an event and don’t let the ticket price be above my set budget. I’m trying to get as close to the stage if not, front row seats and I’d like to be as centered as possible so I don’t miss a thing! I enjoyed having a staff member go through the motions with me and help me to secure my perfect seat!
When I purchase tickets online directly from the Ticketmaster website, it can be convenient because I’m in the comfort of my own home or anywhere else on one of my wireless devices, but I always look at the seating chart over and over again looking for that perfect seat! Something about having those extra pair of eyes and the assistance of an authorized Ticketmaster dealer makes me feel just a little bit better. NOW selected Walmart stores are now a Ticketmaster location and even though there are touch screen kiosks in the electronic departments or in other stores the customer care counter, I think the Walmart staff in those departments are trained on assisting clients when they are purchasing tickets. I’m going to purchase my next set of event tickets at Walmart and tell you how it goes.
Ticketmaster and Walmart bring tickets to 1100+ Walmart locations across the United States. Fans can now purchase live event tickets in their neighborhood Walmart using point of sale touch screens, located in the store’s electronics department. Purchasing tickets for family shows, concerts, theatre, and sporting events has never been more convenient. How do you like purchasing event tickets, are you fine with purchasing online directly from the Ticketmaster website or would you rather a Ticketmaster authorized dealer at a retail location? I want to know…
