I decided to go to the mall last minute on Sunday and I’m so glad I did. It was 6:30 pm when I made it to the mall knowing it was going to close at 7:00 pm. I got to speed walking so I could catch Victoria’s Secret and add to my bra and underwear collection, after all Valentine’s Day is on Thursday and I did just purchase a nice red dress for my date. It’s only fitting I have a nice set to wear underneath it! When I got to Victoria’s Secret I was greeted by a staff member handing out raffle tickets. They were hosting a in store Valentine’s Day event with a live DJ, awesome DEALS and they offered branded bottled water, along with their famous Vosages Chocolates. I tasted “Fabulous” It’s Pistachio White Chocolate cream in Dark Chocolate & Pink Murray River Salt. It was DELICIOUS! All the flavors are awesome. I was caught so off guard but, it was a great event and experience. I decided to go shopping at the perfect time.
I immediately started to browse the Victoria’s Secret selections when I was approached by another staff member asking if I needed any assistance finding anything. Hey, why not? The store is packed full of people for this in store event and if she can grab me what I want so I can try it on and make this process more convenient, I’m all for it! I gave her my requests and got on the dressing room line (which was so long!). I will say that the DJ was playing all the right tunes and made waiting in line pleasant. By the time I got in a dressing room I was ready to party and they played my song “The Wobble” so you know I was wobbling in the dressing room while trying on my new Vickie’s picks! Don’t act like you’ve never started dancing in a public dressing room. **The deals and discounts exclusively for Valentine’s Day will end on Thursday**
What I do love about this entire experience is that it was a great in store event. I see more brands starting to do this and it’s a great way to connect with your customers while having a fun atmosphere, great deals and cool prizes. I’m sure they made their sales goal for the day and then some after all I think we all get our sexy on a little more around Valentine’s Day! I got my sexy stuff and received a great deal plus a box of Vosages chocolate. That was a win! Victoria’s Secret is also hosting another in store event this coming weekend, however it’s a Spring Break private shopping event that will take place in select locations on Sunday February 17th from 7:30pm-9:30pm.
