I am very new to the blog world and until recently, didn’t spend much time on any social networking sites. I have a few personal pages that I juggle and try to keep current on a daily basis. Since launching a Small Business I find it very important to network personally and on the web. I found myself doing research on what method of social media networking would be best for me. I have a MySpace page but, I honestly check that particular page once a week if that, and I don’t think MySpace is as popular as it once was when it first surfaced. I have a Facebook page that I manage to visit daily, I won’t say I keep up on changing my status every few hours. I may log on in the morning and not again until eight or nine in the evening. I built a Facebook Fan Page and I am still in the process of promoting it and adding Fans. The new thing seems to be Twitter which I am very unfamiliar with. I am still researching that form of networking but, it seems to be a huge success for many. I posted last month about time management and scheduling. I am still working through finding the best scheduling system for myself. I work full time, I am a wife and mommy to four. Need I say more…
I have been entertaining the idea of hiring a Virtual Assistant. The Idea would be for them to maintain all of the business social networking pages (marketing) and promotions while I concentrate on designing. That would be a huge help with all that I have going on already. Well, I came across this article about social media networking on the Women Entrepreneur website and I wanted to share it with you. I hope you find it as useful as I did.
