Today Author Teresa Moody will be a guest blogger and tell us a little about her book Anonymous: “Sometimes Blogging About Your Life Can Be Dangerous” and how it was born. We’ll be giving away a copy of Anonymous to one lucky reader. All you have to do is leave a comment letting us know how you take precautions blogging. Have you ever dealt with a virtual stalker, or a virtual bully? How would you handle a situation like that. Winner will be chosen randomly using a random number generator. Welcome Tess!
I have had a great year in the world of blogging. I only wished that I found out about it back when I was single and had SO many dating stories I could of written about.
Or, maybe I could have about the terrible night that my fiancé (at the time) got in a terrible car accident. He didn’t die, but was in a coma for 2 months, and when he woke up and we found out that he had brain damage and would never be the same.
Blogging probably would have been great therapy for all the years that I dealt with being a step mom to a difficult stepdaughter, whose purpose in life was to make my life miserable.
But, now here I am, blogging and loving all the friends that I’ve made and the opportunities that came my way-all because of blogging. My blog is there for me to share my stories, ask advice, and to put up photos to embarrass my kids.
Blogging did something else for me as well. It gave me an idea-an idea for a story. That story turned into a book. A suspense novel titled, Anonymous.
Anonymous is about a blogger named, Paige McDonald. She’s a big time blogger who has many readers, but one reader becomes obsessed with her. Soon, she’s fearing for the safety of her family.
This book has a twist to it. You might be surprised at the ending! If you haven’t had a chance to pick up a copy yet (you can order it through Amazon or B&N) you can try for a chance to get one here for free! (see details below).
Look at blogging as a fun and most definitely therapeutic hobby. If you make a few friends, get some free stuff, or make money from it along the way, then good for you!
Thanks!
Tess
