I was excited when I learned that Tami Roman was going to be in town at my local neighborhood Walgreens for a meet & greet promoting her exclusive line of nail polish and lip gloss TR Love Cosmetics. I quickly rearranged my schedule to be able to attend and invited my seventeen year old daughter, she was excited and wanted to attend as well. My daughter started a fashion & style blog recently and she is definitely a lover of fashion and beauty, just like her momma! We’re both huge Tami Roman fans! Oh… and we were all born in Mt.Vernon, NY! Go Westchester! So, we got to Walgreen’s nice and early before the crowd so we could be one of the first people in line to see Tami Roman. There were only a few people ahead of us and we watched Tami interact with her fans. She was great! I didn’t know that she’d be the one actually assisting us with picking out our colors and giving us product information. It was way more than I expected.
When it was our turn I made sure to tell Tami Roman that we were born in the same 4.4 square miles in Westchester. She said yeah I was born in Mt. Vernon but, grew up in White Plains. There happened to be another woman in the store that came from Westchester too. Tami Roman got her attention by screaming “Hey Westchester” across the store. It was a pretty funny moment. After the fun introduction we jumped right into choosing a lip gloss with the help of Tami Roman, from her TR Love Cosmetics lip gloss line. I am really tired of the same old and wanted to go outside the box when it came to my lip gloss color so I chose “Monique”. Monique has a high shine with a coral tint that definitely works with my skin tone. It’s subtle enough to wear daily and not just for that special occasion. My daughter’s first choice was red but, decided to go with “Harmoni” and it’s such a pretty pink lip gloss that compliments her skin tone. Our selections were Tami Roman approved and we were both pleased!
One of the highlights about TR Love Cosmetics lip gloss is that it lights up with a built in LED light. It also has a built in mirror on the packaging allowing you to freshen up your lip gloss in dark places and on the go! How many times have you been at an event whether it be a club, party, restaurant or lounge and left your friends to hit the ladies room and check your makeup?!?! I mean we all do it! You check your makeup, freshen your lip gloss and your back with your guests. That doesn’t have to happen anymore! I’m excited! So we were almost done, I had to pay for our purchases at the Walgreens cosmetics counter and we even got to snap a picture with Tami Roman. I asked her if I could be a little picky, an she said yes! Lol! I explained that my daughter and I are both bloggers so we’d each like a separate picture with her and one together. That sparked a conversation between her and my daughter about why she started blogging and Tami Roman gave her some words of wisdom and encouraged her to stick with it. It was truly a pleasure meeting Tami Roman.

In store I purchased two lip gloss and I hope the nail polish will be available in select Walgreens locations soon.
