WARNING: This post is full of random & it’s a bit lengthy! Story of my life, nothing but chaos! So the last time I posted, I did my “seedology” in Whrll for the SEEDS contest that I entered for a chance to be sponsored to BlogHer 10’. Since then, I’ve been on hiatus. This is not intentional trust me!


I’ve been working overtime trying to fine tune my WordPress Blog so I can transition over from Blogger. I’ve put so many things on hold to get this right. My designs were finished a while ago. Learning and familiarizing myself with wordpress and adding all the plug-ins and widgets is what’s got me all tied up. I know that it’s not going to be perfect but, then my OCD kicks in and it’s not good enough to launch. I gave myself two weeks to launch after leaving Bloggy Bootcamp that’s now turned into five weeks.

On another note I didn’t do my usual post it notes yesterday and link up over at Supah Mommy’s Place. So, here’s what I would have said…

Dear Auto Mechanic, my transmission gave me the finger and told me to kiss her ass she’s leaving me, that’s fine. You told me that you could replace her and that I’d be up and running in no time. That was three weeks ago. What’s up with that? I miss my Caravan! To be followed by…

Dear Water Heater, how dare you decide to conk out on me on a weekend that our plumber is out of town? I’m not used to not having hot water and having to camp out in my own home. That was just rude! Thank god we have a fireplace, because I don’t think we could’ve stayed with no heat & hot water. Thank god for good friends! The phone call went something like this, Umm we need to do bath duty and your home for a couple of days, the water heater’s busted and the plumber won’t be able to come out until Monday and we probably won’t get it installed until Tuesday. Thanks, Love you… Bye!

Dear Pollen, I know you must be here during spring time but, can you give a girl a break! My allergy meds aren’t even working because there’s so much of you and your everywhere!

The In laws visited and surprised the kids for Easter weekend which was great! I was so happy and looking forward to my Mom in laws cooking and just knew I wasn’t going to cook all weekend, including Easter Sunday. Well, I just jumped to conclusions! Mom in law was on vacation and it was all on me. However, she gave me the thumbs up and said I did a great job with Easter dinner which is an honor considering she taught me how to cook for her son. (That’s a whole other post)

Then I was asking the Universe what I did to deserve this bad karma????? AND yesterday I woke up to the best email I could have ever wanted to open… a week ago I had entered a giveaway on Set Free To Succeed and it was for a 7-day Luxury Resort Stay in Mexico. Now when I entered, I did everything that was required to be qualified and I went about my business thinking nothing anything else about it. Well, I get an email yesterday morning notifying me that I am one of the three winners. I’m going to Mexico!

How’s that for Karma? Go and check out Set Free To Succeed they will be holding more travel giveaways in the future. So, I guess all the hardships I’ve been through lately are being rewarded by a vacation! I get to choose where I’d like to go from Acapulco, Mazatlan, Puerto Penasco, Nuevo Vallarta or Cancun. This is going to be fun! Okay, I’ve rambled enough. I’ll be posting about my trip when I go.
