One of the things I absolutely enjoy is playing video games! I definitely have a “gamer” family because we all have our own preferred video game consoles (XBOX Kinect, PS3, Wii, PSP and GameBoy) and playing video games has become apart of our family time routine. The latest game we had a blast playing was Family Feud 2012 Edition published by Ubisoft.
Family Feud 2012 Edition for XBOX 360 allows up to four players (and up to ten players on the Wii) to play and there are two modes to choose from, Challenge mode where you can play against a family feud family made up of fun characters and you can add up to three additional players, there are sixteen challenge themes to choose from and three difficulty levels. You unlock a new reward video every time you win fast money in a new challenge. In party mode you can play with three additional players against each other. I love that you can use your existing XBOX profile as a player and you must sign into a profile or create one in order to play on any game console. Family Feud Rules: The goal of Family Feud 2012 edition is to obtain the best score by answering survey questions and advancing to the fast money bonus round, where players have a chance to win a $20,000 bonus round. In each round you’ll be asked survey questions and asked to answer with the top answers given by 100 real people. This part really makes you think and it’s tons of FUN! You score points by answering correctly and receive the value of the answer on the board. There are three stages in each round, Face off where a team player will compete to get control of the survey, Survey is the team with control trying to give the remaining answers without striking out for wrong answers and Steal is when the opposing team gives three wrong answers, the opposing team has a chance to steal all the points you earned on the survey so far. As the game progresses the point values increase and you also have an option of winning fast money after the survey rounds and the team with the highest total score advances to fast money round for a chance to earn up to 20,000.
Overall Family Feud 2012 Edition was truly entertaining and we all had a blast! The first game we played in party mode and competed against one another which was hilarious because we are very competitive but, it’s all in good FUN! The second game we played in challenge mode and teamed up to play against a family feud family and it was a good experience to work together as a team and WIN the game! It can be challenging because you are being timed when answering survey questions and as you advance in the game the families get smarter.
