I did something I’m completely against! I posted a video that wasn’t up to my standards. There are so many reasons why I dislike vlogging. I’ve been blogging since 2009 and have very few vlogs published. I don’t want to be on video if my hair isn’t done, I’m not dressed how I want, if I don’t have the best setting or I’m just not prepared! I use way too many filler words, but that’s going to change because I am going to start attending my local Toastmasters club in an effort to help me tackle using filler words along with my fear of public speaking.
I can network and work a room, BUT don’t put me on a stage in front of those same people to deliver a speech! Just let me network and connect with each person individually. I know… it’s the craziest thing! I have forced myself to speak in front of an audience before and it wasn’t pretty! I get nervous, my voice is shaky and I sound like I’m about to start crying. Ugh! I can walk up to a stranger and start a conversation about anything! Go Figure!
Well, in this video dubbed the couch chronicles (in sweatpants, t-shirt & totally barefoot) I am talking about how easy it was to design my Motorola Moto X Smartphone online in Moto Maker! I share the different options that you are given and take you through each prompt as I create my custom Motorola Moto X. It was really easy and didn’t take much time at all. I was able to even personalize it by engraving the back as well as creating my start screen message.
In an effort to streamline my content and be more consistent, I will incorporate some vlogs because I have a hectic schedule and sometimes it prevents me from blogging and my site will stay dormant until I pop up again and the chaos subsides. I’ve heard that the more I vlog the easier it will get. We shall see… Disclosure: I received a Motorola Moto X as a participating member in the #MotoMakers program for review. All opinions are solely my own.
In the meantime, enjoy my imperfect vlog and excuse my filler words! So, how do you like the idea of designing your own mobile phone? I’ll be back with more updates after I power it up, slip in my SIM card and activate it on my mobile phone plan. Ciao!
