I recently worked with Jessica Lamarre, owner of Flaunt Boutique on my music video shoot. As the time gets closer to video viewing launch everyone will get more details. I love Jessica’s approach to marketing her boutique. You come in and play dress up and model while she and other shoppers critique your look and offer up ideas, other garment and accessory suggestions. It’s like your typical catwalk event, because you’re modeling and changing clothes throughout your visit at Flaunt. That’s pretty much how a portion of my music video shoot went. Jessica pulled some outfits that she thought would compliment my figure and look good on me, she also paired the outfits with shoes and accessories to achieve the complete look and I looked HOT!!! I fell in love with the ALL the outfits and designers with each look she had given me, which brings me to Desigual.

Desigual was born in Spain, and has grown to have flagship stores in Amsterdam, Barcelona, Berlin, Dubai, Lisboa, London, Madrid, Milan, Moscow, New York, Paris, Rome, Singapore, San Francisco, Tokyo and many more with their designs in countless boutiques across the world. Desigual has a great atypical marketing strategy and sales campaigns from “The Desigual Kiss Tour” to “Come in half-naked, leave fully dressed”. It’s no wonder their tag line is “It’s not the same” because they are really standing out effortlessly and continually growing. They also offer a children’s collection that was established in 2004 and just recently launched a footwear line which I absolutely love. You’ll see why shortly, you know I have pictures to share. I had the opportunity to wear a couple of Desigual pieces during my video shoot and the colors popped and designs look great! My sister also fell in love with some pieces and bought some Desigual to add to her clothing collection.

Every other month Jessica hosts a “Real Housewives of The Triangle” event at her boutique Flaunt and it’s a BIG hit! The events are themed each time and you play dress up, there are hair & makeup pampering sessions, HUGE discounts on selected items, exclusive giveaways, accompanied with food and wine. It makes a great girls night out! This last event in March was awesome because she had a special guest from Desigual attend the event and there was special pricing on all Deasigual items in store. I had the chance to meet the Southeast Sales Manager for Desigual and learned about the company. I also shared that I was a blogger, social media butterfly and had just finished shooting a video and wore a couple of Desigual designs. The Desigual Rep thought it was great and we exchanged information. I’ll keep her updated once the video is finished and ready for viewing, and she’ll get to see it. I thought it was amazing that just by chance I was able to connect with a Desigual Rep after Jessica put me in some of Desiguals designs that I really enjoyed .
