One of my favorite things to have is “ME” time and I usually will have a spa day where I go and get a manicure and pedicure followed by going to the hair salon and getting my hair done. I love when I’ve gotten pampered for a few hours and can go back to the hustle and bustle of my chaotic life AND look good while I’m working. Let me tell you a little bit about Karen. I was referred to Karen by a co worker and she was working within a salon at the time. The first time I met Karen she was so AWESOME! I was her last client of the evening on Valentine’s Day (none the less) two years ago and she looked at my head shook her head and said… Do you trust me? Let me work my magic! I’ve been in bliss ever since.

After offering me a beverage and cupcake, Karen based my head, put in a relaxer, washed my hair, cut my hair in a CUTE style, blew me out and flat ironed my hair. By the time she was done I was Divalicious! You couldn’t tell me anything! My hair was so light, shiny and had BODY! Karen is a master colorist! Karen is awesome at cutting and styling as well she’s been at if for over fourteen years. The best part about it is that she is totally giving YOU her undivided attention as she’s doing your hair. Now, Karen decided that she was going to step out on faith and open her own salon. There was a period of time when she stopped working at the salon but, she did notify her regular clients and offered to make home visits or do hair at her home until her salon was ready for the grand opening. That’s superior customer service! Karen has been to my home on more than one occasion to do my hair and I’ve been to her home as well. In June of this year Karen’s salon opened and it’s beautiful!

The one thing that I love is that “Hair Whisper Salon” is an intimate setting and it’s all about YOU! There is usually one client there at any given time and you get to chat with Karen and talk about whatever is on your heart without other people eavesdropping, I must say this is one of the first times I’ve ever been in a salon setting and there was no salon gossip going on and their isn’t multiple clients waiting. Karen’s clientele is very diverse, seeing as she can work on any hair type. The salon is open six days a week and you are able to go on the website and schedule an appointment, see what she offers and even look in the gallery at some of her work.
