My daughters and I participated in a trade with Images by Amber Robinson. She is running a special promotion in January where she is stocking her wardrobe with new dresses and gowns and needed help. Amber is accepting gently used and clean formal dresses and gowns for a 30 minute photo session and you’ll receive a matted 8 x 10 art print. That’s a Great Trade!
I thought this was an amazing opportunity to have some fun with my daughters. We had a few formal dresses in our closets that I know weren’t going to be worn again like…. the Brides Maid dress I wore in my best friends wedding, my daughters Cotillion gown & Prom Dresses! So why not trade our formalwear for a photo session and help a local business in the process.
It has been a while since I have taken professional photos with my daughters. I envisioned this experience to be FUN and my daughters are fashion forward and love to take pictures so I knew this would be a win-win situation! We were all scheduled to take individual shots and then some group shots together. I can’t wait to see and share the finished images.
My daughters and I had a get glam session the night before where we all got our hair done, decided on what outfits we were going to wear and what our makeup would look like. We are ALL natural and decided to go with blow outs and curls from Denoltra Brown. She came to our rescue and is awesome to have done our three heads back to back! I salute you!
I was super pleased with our session and it was FUN just like I imagined. Amber was great to work with and I’m already looking at booking another session. I really would love to do one with my entire family. I haven’t done a session like that in a while. I also have princess #1 graduating in June and we still haven’t done her Senior pictures and Prom is in May.
If you are in the North Carolina Triangle Area and looking for a great photographer that offers lots of fun themed sessions at every price point to meet your budget then please check out the Images by Amber Robinson website and book a session. You can tell her that I sent you! 😉
