This past Halloween was spooktacular, I planned a Halloween Masquerade Party for my company and our loyal readers (I work for a newspaper) at a local restaurant and lounge and it was successful. I had fun planning what I was going to wear and going masquerade mask shopping at the Halloween Costume store. I had a genius idea that I’d  re-purpose my maid of honor dress from my best friends wedding (blah, blah, years ago) and I’d have a great costume. While I had the great brainstorm I didn’t take into consideration that… Since the wedding I’ve gained weight, had a baby and gained weigh. Wait… (I already said that)! When I tried to try on my maid of honor dress I couldn’t get it past my hips let alone trying to get it over my lady lump! That plan went straight down the toilet! Oh well, the idea was good while it lasted. So, what did I do? I wore my black corset looking tutu dress from last Halloween and threw on my masquerade mask and called it a day.
