I travel quite regularly and share my adventures with you all on my blog and social media channels. As a influencer it’s second nature for me to share my travel experiences with my online community and give you my picks on where to stay, where to eat and where to play. I have recently added the benefit of planning travel for others with Goofy Getaways. While I specialize in Disney Destinations, I can book travel ANYWHERE! I will continue to keep blogging about my personal travel experiences along the way! I am open for bookings for 2021! Let me be your Travel Consultant while you sit back and relax. I promise it will be MAGICAL!
I have visited Disney World in the summer, fall and winter seasons. My preference is during the Fall/Winter Seasons. It is cooler and not uncomfortable walking around the park or standing in long lines. The Fast Pass can get you to the front of the line quicker but, if you don’t have one it’s bearable in the fall and winter months. The Fall & Holiday Décor is lovely, and you get to enjoy the Taste of EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival September through November. All the parades are memorable! I love Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas Parade as well as the Christmas Tree Trail at Disney Springs and the tasty holiday treats throughout the park(s).
Disney World has implemented firm precautions and safety measures for guests visiting the Disney World Resort. You must have both park reservation and valid admission for the same park on the same date. They are required for guests age three and up. Cleaning has been enhanced throughout the resort; physical distancing is in place along with reduced contact for certain experiences. Face coverings are required for all guests (ages two and up) and cast members. Temperature Screenings are required for entry at some locations and the My Disney Experience App is your best friend!
ALL Disney Resort Hotels are not open along with certain restaurants and shops in the parks and Disney Springs. Your Travel Consultant can tell you what hotels, restaurants, shops, events, tours and experiences are open and available to you. My favorite Disney Park is Animal Kingdom and I absolutely LOVE Pandora the World of Avatar. If you have not been on the right of passage, you do not know what you are missing. It is such an experience. All the foliage is so beautiful. Also, if you love animals, you will totally enjoy the safari through the park. There are tons of photo opportunities in Animal Kingdom.
If you are more of a Disney cruiser, Adventures by Disney or interested in other Disney Destination properties your Travel Consultant can help craft the perfect Disney adventure. They can schedule it for you based on the availability and openings of the cruises and your properties of interest. Some families decided to cancel their 2020 Disney adventure and reschedule for 2021. I’m currently trying to decide if I want to head to Disney World next month for my birthday or wait until the New Year. I still have not been to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and I have been waiting patiently for the stars to align. **fingers crossed**
My international travel plans for 2020 were cancelled prior to countries closing their borders and travel restrictions being put in place. I am rescheduling for 2021 myself but, I have focused more on local travel during this pandemic. Traveling within 3-4 hours away from my home has been my new normal. The beach and the mountains have been my getaway spots within the last few months. I wrote about my experiences so be sure to check them out. I am sharing how hotels, restaurants and local attractions are handling COVID-19 and the safety precautions they have put in place so you can enjoy your staycation.
Overall, I know we are all itching to travel again, and we are trying to make the best decisions for ourselves and our families. If you have any travel questions about Disney Destinations or any other travel destination, feel free to shoot me an email. I am here to answer your questions and sprinkle some pixie dust on your travel plans. It is a personal decision whether you plan to travel now or wait until 2021 or beyond. It is what YOU feel comfortable with. No judgement here! I have been traveling locally throughout COVID-19 and looking at booking international travel next year along with a cruise.
