This time of year is the best time to take advantage of all the great Groupon deals. It’s back to school for traditional students and you can now focus on the upcoming holidays, events and special occasions that are right around the corner. I’m already planning my fall getaway and everything I want to do with my family before the end of the year. I like the convenience of having Groupon because I can browse and find exactly what I am looking for. Can you believe Christmas will be here before you know it? Is it too soon to break out my Advent Calendar? Let the countdown begin…

Groupon allows you to save money on things to do locally in your community, dining out, spa & beauty services, electronics, automotive, health & fitness along with travel. I more often than not have a budget that I am going to try my best and stick to. It’s nice to know that Groupon allows me to save even further by getting deals through them. I have a family household of six and two of my children are in college so you can imagine that I am being as frugal as I can be when it comes to family travel or dining out. It definitely adds up!

I must also mention that it’s TOTALLY fine to take some time just for YOU! There’s a variety health, beauty & wellness deals on Groupon that you can take advantage of. I’m notorious for always taking care of home, kids and spouse first putting myself on the back burner. I guess that is the life of a wife and mother but, we can’t forget about ourselves. We need to take time to relax, re-charge and get laser focused on the tasks we have ahead of us and sometimes UNplugging and a spa day does the trick! Even better when you are NOT spending and arm and a leg on it!

Saving money is a priority for many households especially during the times when you tend to spend the most. I know I always spend way more in the fourth quarter than I do any other quarter out of the year. I have my Birthday in October and I celebrate all month long dubbing it JENtober! Two out of my four children have Birthdays in October and December. I host Thanksgiving dinner almost every year and then we have Christmas. I can definitely say that using Groupon to purchase gifts and plan things to do with my family at a discount is HUGE for me.

If you are always on the go like me, then downloading the Groupon App should be a priority for you. The app is available for iPhone, iPad and Android devices. Head to the Apple App Store or Google Play for Android and download the app. You can search deals while you’re out and about. The Groupon website is very user friendly. It’s easy to sign up and you can log in using Facebook or your Google account to make things a bit easier. I love Groupon’s deals and the convenience of having access to it whenever I need it.

Money Saving Coupons with Groupon

I love to save money when shopping. I have a fairly large family, there are six of us and we can easily rack up a high shopping bill. I like the convenience of having a variety of coupons for events, travel, attractions, retail and services. During the summer season it’s the perfect time to plan family events, vacations and stay-cations. I always strategically plan out my family trips ahead of time and set a budget to stick to. Groupon Coupons allow you to save money while still getting a full vacation experience. Money saving coupons for summer activities is a WIN!

You can get a city pass and save up to 50% off of must see attractions, get discounted hotel rooms and even save on food. There are also discounted theme park tickets for a family fun day at the park. These are just a few great reasons to take advantage of Groupon Coupons during the summer. However, there are so many great opportunities to save on a variety other things year round. Soon, we will be thinking about Back to School and there are retailers like Kohl’s and Foot Locker that offer great discount codes.

What I really like about Groupon is that it offers coupons to your local community businesses as well as larger chain corporations. You can get the best of both worlds. It’s very easy to set up an account. You also have the option of signing up using your Facebook or Google Plus accounts. It’s a user friendly site and you don’t have any fees associated with joining. You can set your current location to get the coupons that apply to your specific area and search coupons by store or category.

I must also mention that Groupon has a mobile app. The techie in me had to let you know. I also am a woman that loves convenience and being able to snag coupons on the go is AWESOME! You can search, purchase and redeem coupons right on your phone or other mobile devices. The app is available on iPhone/iPad devices and the Android App on Google Play. From the computer you will be prompted to enter your number on the Groupon website and a download link will be sent directly to your phone.

To take full advantage of Groupon Coupons I would look for discounts in the stores that you shop at regularly anyway and get additional savings. I have a tendency to always go to the clearance section when shopping so guess what?!?! Groupon has a clearance section with a variety of even more discounted coupons in many categories like women’s fashion, jewelry, entertainment, home & garden just to give you an idea. There are many other categories. I love a good clearance SALE!

This month Kroger’s Family of Stores Cart Buster Savings Event started on March 3rd and will continue throughout March 16th. Kroger’s Cart Buster Savings Event is a must for everyone! I’ve always had a Kroger’s Shopper Rewards Card but, the Kroger Cart Buster Savings Event gives you additional savings and if you want to take it a step further you can sign up for a Kroger online account and get digital coupons loaded right onto your rewards card. In addition to getting coupons loaded to your Shopper’s Card, you can sign up for special promotions, browse weekly ads online and download the mobile app. Convenience right at your finger tips! You can also take advantage of the Select Your Deal promotion for even more savings. It’s been such a great experience shopping at Kroger with a variety of ways to SAVE! I am able to enjoy the Cart Buster Savings Event and shop for some of my favorite products that I keep around daily. Like I mentioned in my last Kroger Cart Buster Savings Event post with a family size of six, I keep Tropicana Orange Juice and Tostitos in the house on a daily basis and I was overjoyed to get it on sale during the Cart Buster Savings Event.

TODAY is another great day to Select Your Deal and see what great coupon selections Kroger is going to present you with. Let me refresh your memory about Select Your Deal. Kroger online account holders are presented with three random coupons and you have the option of choosing which one best fits your shopping pattern or needs at the moment. There are so many great products that are featured and it only makes sense to shop for your favorites that you MUST have on hand all the time. Today when I selected my deal I was presented with Kraft Cooking Cream or Fresh Take, Pantene, or DiGiorno or California Pizza Kitchen Pizza. I selected DiGiorno, and loaded it right onto my rewards card. You can check out a complete list of all the brands on sale you can choose from that include P.F. Chang’s Frozen Meals or Appetizers, Stacy’s Pita Chips, Bounce Dryer Sheets and Always Feminine Products just to name a few. I won’t stress the convenience of Kroger’s Cart Buster Savings Event, Digital Coupons and Select Your Deal! I can access everything from my phone, rewards card, digital coupons and that is GREAT! I even get compliments from the cashiers at how awesome it is that I have everything on my phone and they just scan it… 1,2,3 and I’m all done!

Kroger Cart Buster Savings Event

As a mom of four growing children and a family size of six I like a good deal and love to save when shopping! I think everyone loves a good deal and saving some money, after all it’s good for any budget! Kroger Family of Stores Cart Buster Savings Event has been running from March 3rd and will continue throughout March 16th at all Kroger Co. Family Stores. There are great offers that you are able to choose from also allowing you to pick the store of your choice as well as choose from tons of products on sale throughout the store. There are many of your favorite P&G brands on sale. One of my faves is Bounty, with a preschooler that is always trying to be independent I tend to clean up many messes and Bounty saves me every time. I get … “Mommy I just poured my own juice” but, there’s a mess on the table or he spilled it on the floor. I know moms of little independent ones know exactly where I am coming from! Check out a complete list of all the brands on sale you can choose from. There’s a surprise bonus to the Cart Buster Savings Event… You are able to select your deal online and save further. Today March 8th, there is a select your deal promotion and if you happen to miss it you have a chance to catch it again on March 15th!

Select Your Deal is strictly an online promotion that kroger.com account holders can access. There are three random digital coupon deals to choose from, and you pick the one that you like the best. You get additional in-store savings that are loaded right onto your Kroger shopper card. Doesn’t that sound super convenient? It’s great that the coupons are random, you never know what you are going to get and it varies per person. I know that I’d love to see what deals my friends and family are presented with. My sister is my shopping buddy so I’d be all up in her deals. Ha! Some brands that may be featured include Tropicana Orange Juice, Secret Deodorant, Crest 3D White Toothpaste, Pantene and DiGiorno Pizza just to name a few. Some of the brands I mentioned are everyday brands and products that I use in my household so I certainly don’t mind saving on them. In my house we drink Tropicana Orange Juice ALL the time! We start with a glass at breakfast and continue to drink it throughout the day. We’ll go through 59 Fl oz. in a day with everyone drinking it. I also buy the gallon at times and that still goes fairly quickly so you can just imagine how relieved I am to be able to save on on buying Tropicana Orange Juice especially when I’m buying it so frequently.

I love the convenience of digital coupons, and online deals! I’ll be sure to share what three deals I’m presented with today and on March 15th and what deal I actually decide to choose. I can’t wait for my next Kroger shopping experience, it’s guaranteed to be a good one because I’m able to save money on the products I use and love.
