I always want my kids to be healthy! I’m a bit of a germaphobe and will try to be proactive when it comes to warding off germs in our home. I’ve raised my children to be mindful of their surroundings and take the necessary measures to try and stay healthy. I practice what I preach. I have hand sanitizer on me at all times. I won’t even push a shopping cart at the store without wiping the handles down first, so I can appreciate the stores that have the sanitizing wipes at the entrance. My oldest daughter recently went away to college and I want her to stay healthy while she is at school. She participates in a few school clubs and is always hosting a campus activity or at practice for an upcoming event. Homecoming is this week for my daughter and she will be performing with her modeling troop and has scheduled activities around the clock. My main concern is that she gets enough rest, eats properly, takes her vitamins daily and overall stays healthy. I’ve put together a stay healthy care package for her to use while away at school. She has been practicing long hours lately and has been achy and even though she’s tired has issues falling asleep at night sometimes.
I went to my local Walmart and got the items I thought were necessary to help my daughter stay on the right track. If she is going to be exerting lots of energy then she needs to take her Centrum Multigummy Vitamins. She’s been in practice seven days a week and has been a little achy and sore so I got her Advil Liqui-Gels to help with the discomfort. My daughter has always had a problem sleeping, even before she went away to college so I can imagine it must be harder being away from home. I bought the Emergen-Zzzzz (for occasional sleepiness) to see if she can get some relief when needed. I also got her hand sanitizer, candy, Nestle hot chocolate, plush smurf toy and Kleenex. I used a Rubbermaid drawer organizer, I figured she can use the drawer organizer after she takes all the items out from her “College Essentials Survival Kit”. I know that she has a lot going on daily and even more with it being Homecoming Week. I just want my daughter to be armed with products that will help her succeed in staying healthy as well as making the right choices when it comes to eating, staying hydrated and getting the appropriate rest that she needs. Let me share the brand claims and disclaimers of the Pfizer items that I bought and put in her care package.

Items for my daughters Stay Healthy College Care Package: Rubbermaid Drawer Organizer, Centrum MultiGummy Vitamins, Emergen-Zzzz, Advil Liqui-Gels, Kleenex, Hand Sanitizer, Tea Cup, Nestle Hot Chocolate, Straw, Nips Coffee Candy and Smurfs Plush Toy.
Tutorial Directions:
Step 1: I decided on a Rubbermaid Drawer Organizer that I would put all my daughters stay healthy college survival items in. You can also use a box, gift bag or basket.
Step 2: I played with how I wanted to position all the items within the drawer organizer. I didn’t want it looking too organized. I had a few different shapes and sizes going on so that helped.
Step 3: Also think about placing the items that won’t be used so frequently at the bottom of the basket and the more frequently used items like the Centrum MultiGummies as well as any fragile or soft items on the top.
Step 4: The theme of this care package is college essentials for staying healthy. I had to think of what additional items I wanted to add along with the Pfizer products.
Step 5: I decided to add Hand Sanitizer, Kleenex, Straw (with her school colors), Mug, Hot Chocolate, Nips Coffee Candy and a Smurfs Plush Toy.
Step 6: I didn’t wrap my care package in anything. If you’d like to add some special finishing touches, feel free to use cellophane wrap or gift wrapping paper and add a bow or some ribbon to embellish your gift.
Step 7: Once I finished placing everything in the drawer organizer, I was ready to give it to my daughter with hopes that she will have everything she needs and stays healthy.
These were all things that came to mind when putting this college care package together. What would you have put in your stay healthy care package? Did I miss anything? Visit the Pfizer website if you would like more information on Pfizer Consumer Healthcare Products.
