Sleep is very important to me. I don’t have the best sleep habits because my creative juices seem to flow at odd hours but, getting enough sleep and being comfortable is at the top of my priority list. I have days that I sleep in late after being up way past my bedtime. I also work from home and it’s not odd that I work from my bed a majority of the time. My desk is just taking up space and makes for good home décor conversation. I was excited to have an opportunity to review the Nectar Queen size mattress.
We won’t talk about my previous mattress! It was time for a new one. I wasn’t getting the best rest and I would toss and turn throughout the night. I also have a habit of waking up at an odd hour and going back to sleep shortly after. I usually have something playing on the television in the background. It’s weird, I need to fall asleep with my television on. I will turn it off at some point during the night. I have about eight pillows on my bed and sleep with at least two on a regular basis. I’m a light sleeper!
I was eager to experience sleeping on the Nectar mattress and see if there would be differences in my sleep habits and comfort. This is my first memory foam mattress. Now let’s talk about the delivery! It comes rolled up and packaged in a bag for shipping and additional bag for storage. It has handles making it easy to transport. Once we removed the mattress from the packaging and positioned it on the box spring, it was time to open the vacuum sealed shipping sleeve. We were very careful while cutting the seal.
We unrolled the mattress because it was literally flat, like a pancake flat! Even the pillows were flat and rolled up within the mattress. As we unrolled it and positioned it perfectly on the box spring it immediately began to expand. It states in the instructions that it may take a few hours to expand to its full size but, you’ll see it almost fully expanded immediately. I did leave it for a few hours to work its magic and then my youngest son just took over and began to test out the Nectar mattress.
So, I’ll share with you what mini me likes about our new Nectar Mattress. He loves that it’s fluffy and soft and likes the body contour. Says it feels like quicksand when he’s sinking into it. I want to know how he knows what quicksand feels like. He likes how comfortable it is and the texture of the mattress. The mini even jumped on it and I wasn’t screaming to stop shaking the bed! He said that he had sweet dreams and got a good night’s sleep on it. Straight from a nine-year old’s mouth!
I felt like I should share his perspective since he hijacked my mattress and I had to wait until he was finished before I could get the full Nectar experience. Nectar is perfect! It’s not too firm and it’s not too soft. There are five layers and combination of hypoallergenic materials allowing Nectar to contour as well as support your body. You stay cool with the Tencel cooling cover which promotes air circulation, wicks away heat and is bedbug resistant. It’s also specially designed to keep out dust mites.
Overall, I’ve gotten better rest. I also noticed that it doesn’t take me as long to fall asleep once I lay down. The pillows are just the right firmness allowing me to work even more comfortably from my bed with the support on my back. I’m not tossing and turning much and I still wake up in between 4-5 am but go right back to sleep shortly after. Oh… Best part is the Nectar Mattress is affordable and has the strongest warranty in the industry. It’s a forever warranty! Check out all the details on the Nectar website.
Could you use some better sleep and sweet dreams in your life?
