Disclosure: I’m a Motorola Moto Maker (Brand Ambassador). All opinions are mine alone. I’m sharing how my Moto X, Moto 360 and Moto Surround work well together and my love for them.
I appreciate when my phone and accessories can work seamlessly hand in hand. It was love at first sight when I designed my Motorola Moto X (2nd Generation) Mobile Phone in MotoMaker and created my personal masterpiece. I LOVE my violet case, metallic violet accents with my name engraved on it. I was even able to customize my start screen greeting. Since powering up my Moto X it has really adapted to my way of life and makes things so much easier. I must admit that I love Moto Assist, it knows when I want quiet time and will keep my notifications quiet when I want to rest. Moto Voice allows me to access certain features of my phone when it’s not within my reach. The “Find My Phone” feature is pretty cool, especially when you misplace your phone in the house or anywhere else for that matter. You just say “Find My Phone” and your phone will ring. Moto Actions is pretty awesome allowing you to access your display by reaching towards your phone or you can silence calls or alarms by the wave of your hand AND… you can launch your camera by twisting your wrist twice quickly. If you do it again you access your front facing camera. This comes in handy when I need to access my camera in a hurry to get that great shot! It beats unlocking my phone and then finding my camera icon. It’s such a time saver!
My Moto 360 Smart Watch works so well with my Moto X. I am able to really utilize Moto Body and access my activity tracker anytime on my wrist. I’ve become obsessed with keeping track of my steps along with how many calories I’ve burned. I track my activity throughout the day and I also like monitoring my heart activity from time to time. I like being able to get notifications on my wrist. My phone is usually in my pocket book and I can see who’s calling and answer or ignore a call on my Moto 360. I can respond to text messages on my Moto 360 and it’s super convenient. I can give my Moto 360 voice commands and it will launch a feature, app or allow me to set an alarm. I love the “Navigate to a gas station nearby” feature. I’m notorious for driving my SUV until it’s below a quarter of a tank and needing to find a convenient gas station to fill up. The Google Maps App and GPS Navigation is great to have on your wrist. It even vibrates to alert you of an upcoming exit, roadwork or even an accident ahead. I’ve taken a few road trips with my Moto 360 and it makes my travel experience so much easier. I also love how I am able to customize my Moto 360 watch face to purple blossoms. I also have my color set to purple when it’s charging on the dock. It tells the time and how charged your device is. #MotoLove
I’ve never really been into headphones but, I’m totally sold on the Moto Surround. Moto Surround are wireless earbuds. They have powerful HD sound, are great to wear constantly and are sweat and waterproof. It was super easy to charge up my earbuds and pair it to my Moto X. You have a status light that will alert you when it’s fully charged, pairing, connected, charging or if you have a low battery. When you power up it will let you know that you are connected and how charged your earbuds are. You can also quickly press the power button throughout the day and it will tell you how much play time you have remaining. You have volume and track controls for when you listen to music. You also have two buttons that control calls, voice and music. I really like that the buttons on the end of my earbuds are magnetic allowing me to place my earbuds on them for safe keeping when not in use. I like the convenience of taking phone calls on my earbuds. It’s pretty cool! I’ve been listening to music on my phone a whole lot more. I can honestly get lost in my tunes and the sound is soooo good, I can’t hear anything else going on around me. I can get up to twelve hours of play time on my Moto Surround.
Moto Connect is the bomb dot com! It basically keeps track of all my devices paired to my Moto X. Moto Connect can let you know what devices are currently connected or disconnected to your phone via BlueTooth. It also let’s you know how charged each device is. I also have a Motorola Power Pack Micro that comes in handy when I am on the go and on my phone constantly. You can never have enough back up power to stay charged up. I’m going to tell you that ALL my Moto devices are super convenient to have and make my life easier. Bonus: They look good too! You know I love my stylish technology. I’m sharing my #MotoLove. Be sure to check out the latest Moto X Pure Edition and New Moto 360. I’ve got them on my wish list! What feature on your phone and accessory can you absolutely NOT live without?
