I had an opportunity to attend the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Presents… DRAGONS show on opening night at PNC Arena in Raleigh, NC and it was packed. Almost every seat was filled in the arena to see “The Greatest Show On Earth”. Ticket holders had an opportunity before the show started to attend the pre-show which allowed you to meet performers, see animals up close, take pictures, get autographs and participate in fun activities. I knew it was a packed house by looking onto the circus floor at all the people during the pre-show. There were clowns instructing exercise activities, a bounce house and dancing just to name a few things. Everything looked super fun and everyone was having a great time! If you weren’t inside during the pre-show then you were outside on the concourse checking out all the cool circus swag you can purchase as a keepsake. I went with the kiddos and mini me wanted everything! He has been a good boy and aside from getting his face painted as a clown, he got a dragon sword and circus 4 wheeler. You also had the option to take photos with cool backgrounds and of course get food for the show!

It’s showtime… I was really looking forward to all the Asian inspired performances and I LOVE dragons! I was so excited at being able to be witness this amazing blend of creativity. I think we all thoroughly enjoyed the traditional performances with the elephants, lions, tigers, and horses however when we saw the swords and performers in their Asian uniforms our eyes lit up. I really enjoyed seeing the acrobats and the women with the strongest hair was amazing to watch. I can’t imagine anyone lifting me up by my ponytail into mid air. I also enjoyed watching the strongest men as they bent solid metal like it was a small paperclip. It was nothing to them! Everyone in the arena was amazed and you knew because the entire audience would erupt giving the performances a hand, and I won’t get started on the ooh’s and aah’s! I would definitely recommend going to see the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey: Dragons performance. I had an amazing time with my family. It was a great show that ended with… you guessed it! An amazing DRAGON! I took pictures, Enjoy!
