Reflections of a Spooky Saturday

So, I’m very last minute with certain things and it wasn’t until yesterday afternoon, that I decided it was finally time to go costume shopping. So, first stop Toys R’ Us. They had a great sale going on, all Halloween items are 40% off. Whoopi! I got the Jester costume and Baby Mickey for under $20.00. You know I have a picky teenager that didn’t see anything… WHATEVER! Next stop, The Mall! Okay, we go into Hot Topic and she gets a Tutu for $16.00, she has the rest of her accessories at home. Cool… Three down and one to go, not including myself! So next stop Claire’s. We get to Claire’s and all their Halloween items are marked 50% off. Okay, let’s go shopping! I find a cute cat accessory kit that contains a headband, paws and tail. $12.00 originally now $6.00! I get a Cheetah accessory kit for my tweenager and we get some leggings 2 pair for $25.00 and we’re all set. Everyone has a costume, and all for under $70.00 bucks!

First Spooky affair of the day is our Neighborhood Halloween Party, meet and mingle with all of the neighbors and munch on sweet treats, then Trunk or Treat at Church with some fun activities and spooky food, and last but not least the Haunted House to end our spooky evening. I didn’t go in there! I let half of the Fab Four duo go in with a friend. My Cheetah Girl wasn’t having it and Baby Mickey was backing her up 100%. So, with all that said… We had a very full Halloween Day. From noon until about midnight I was on the go, go, go… Hope your day was as Spook- Tacular as mine!
