I love to grill during the summer months. It’s a great way to bring family and friends together while enjoying good food. Don’t just wait for holiday weekends! Did you know that the National Pork Board partners with Walmart annually to promote specific pork cuts during the summer grilling season and this year the hero cut is the pork chop. There are so many great recipes you can create with pork chops and the National Pork Board has definitely got your grill covered. Last week I shared my Grill Chops and Lavender Flowers Recipe and this week I am sharing my Grilled Jamaican Jerk Pork Recipe. I went to Walmart and bought some center cut boneless pork chops and regular center pork chops for this recipe. I paired it with rice and peas of course as well as sweet corn. I also cubed a portion of the jerk pork chops and made appetizers. I highly recommend checking out the www.grillpork.org website for some recipe ideas and grilling tips. I love finding new recipes to try and learning new grilling tips to make my life a little easier. You also get to hear what Moe “Big Moe” Cason and George “Tuffy” Stone from TLC’s BBQ Pitmasters have to say about the matter. Is there a particular pork chop recipe that you just LOVE, please share it in the comments. I also would like to know any grilling tips you may be sitting on, share the knowledge. We all want to know!

Tip: Tuffy says to make sure that your grill or pit is clean before cooking – clean grate with a wire brush and remove any ash or greasy spots from the bottom and sides of your grill. Pssssst… We’re giving away a grilling tool kit that has a grill brush in it. I’m just saying!
