I’m really NOT into certain fashion trends and one of them is whether or not to wear white after Labor Day. I’ve NEVER really paid attention to that fashion rule and pretty much wear white whenever I want. AND… don’t let there be an “All White Party”! So, do you wear white after Labor Day? Why or why not? Curious…
I’m a socialite by nature and frequently attend events. I love a good themed party, I also love to host and coordinate them too. I had some events to attend this weekend. So… I went into my “What to wear mode”. I decided to break out my Michael Kors fashionable Khaki & White Sweater and paired it with my white dress shorts from Arden B.
My natural hair was worn in a kinky curly afro for the FIRST time EVER! I think I rocked it well. I usually have it pulled up in an Updo or in a twist out but, this was all together something different for me and I really liked it! I am exactly ONE YEAR into my natural hair journey. Yay Me! #HappilyNappilyMe #KinkyCurlyFro
My Accessories that were paired with this outfit were my genuine black leather “Hamilton” Satchel from Michael Kors. I also wore my Michael Kors Pave Hinge Padlock Bangle (Silver) AND… my Michael Kors Black Suede Yvonne Bootie that I’m head over heels in love with. It was love first sight!
My new “Dream” necklace is hand stamped sterling silver from Blueberry Silver Jewelry. It says “Little girls with dreams become women with vision.” I won that necklace in an Instagram contest by sharing my dreams. So, that pretty much sums up what I wore! I didn’t use much makeup and kept it really natural looking only wearing some mascara and lip gloss.
What are some fashion trends or rules that you completely ignore? I’d like to know that I’m not the only rebellious fashionista.
