I had the pleasure of attending the Carolina Style Magazine 25 Most Stylish People in the Triangle Event as a featured blogger and I had a great time. It’s the second year Carolina Style Magazine has hosted this awesome event that showcases and celebrates people in our local community that are thriving in business, fashion, entertainment and non-profit organizations. What I absolutely loved is that it’s not all about fashion and style, these nominees are about their business, making positive change, and giving back to their community… they just look fabulous doing it! Nominations took places for eight weeks in between February and April allowing people to cast their ballots online and personally at Carolina Style Magazine sponsored events. Categories included: Business Leader, Philanthropist, Socialite, Fashion & Beauty, and Entertainment. There was also a section to provide information why he/she should be one of the 25 Most Stylish.
I covered the Carolina Style 25 Most Stylish People in the Triangle via social media by live tweeting the event and using the official event hashtags #Style25 #TriStyle25 and tagging @CarolinaStyleM in my tweets. I was able to meet some great people and network with some of our local movers and shakers! I also met FabEllis a local Fashion & Beauty blogger that I’ve connected with online but, it was out first chance to meet in person. She’s just as fab in person as she is online! There was an opportunity to activate a STYLE card which gives you access to special offers and discounts with local restaurants, entertainment and shopping locations. If you don’t have one yet, you can visit the Carolina Style Magazine website to receive and activate your STYLE card. The event music was provided by DJ Spcl Gst and he kept the tunes in rotation. The fashion displays were nothing short of amazing, kudos to the beautiful models who made that possible.
I had an amazing time, from the moment I stepped on the red carpet. For more information about the 25 Most Stylish People in the Triangle Event, head over the the Carolina Style Magazine website and check out their official event recap article.
