Do you know what’s trending in Men’s Fashion? Well, if not I’ve got you covered. I had the opportunity to attend A Taste of New York Saks Men’s Fashion Show at Rolls Royce Motor Company and saw some amazing pieces that are sure to be a hit this season. The looks went from chic business to casual and looked great on each model. We had the pleasure of having Eric Jennings, Saks Fashion Director of Menswear in town to personally showcase these handpicked pieces from New York City! The New York Collection includes Isaia, Ermenegildo Zegna, Z Zegna, Ralph Lauren Black Label, Burberry London, Saks Fifth Avenue Men’s Collection, Armani Collezioni, Dolce & Gabbana and Ferragamo. The collection will be available in the Saks Fifth Avenue Raleigh location through November 2nd. All pieces are available to be ordered and shipped to you directly. Fun Fact: Joggers are definitely trending this season for men and women! I may have to break down and buy a pair to step out of my comfort zone.
The one thing that I can say about the New York collection is that the colors and designs are all very fall inspired and I love layers! There is something about when you can layer an outfit and then showcase the outfit in more than one way. I was always surprised when a coat or jacket came off on the runway and I was able to see the outfit underneath. There were six models showcasing twelve looks, modeling two outfits each and they presented the New York Collection with so much style. I really enjoyed the fashion show and we were surrounded by Rolls Royce Luxury Cars. I can now say that I have been in a Rolls Royce Phantom Metropolitan 2015 Limited Edition. Just a few weeks ago the Rolls Royce Phantom EWB Metropolitan made its appearance and debut at the Paris Motor Show. Having the Rolls-Royce vehicles displayed was such a great touch and seemed to go hand in hand with the New York Fifth Avenue Collection. Oh..AND in case you didn’t know the Phantom Metropolitan Collection is hand built in Goodwood, England.
Here are just a few facts to know about the 2015 Rolls-Royce Phantom EWB Metropolitan besides its gorgeous! There will only be twenty units available, hence Limited Edition! My favorite element of the collection is the design set into the straight grain royal walnut veneer. This particular design was inspired by the New York City Skyline. The clock located at the center console is another great detail that features 24 different time zones around the world. The interior of the 2015 Rolls-Royce Phantom Metropolitan is stunning with high quality grey leather upholstery. The interior ceiling is like looking up in the sky on a star filled night. There are other displays of the NYC skyline on various spots of the Phantom adding to the style of this luxury sedan. This sedan is powered by a V12 engine giving you sports car like performance. I may just have to make an appointment to test drive this baby!
