McDonald’s recently launched their new Premium McWrap’s. The new meal size wrap combines fresh vegetables, sauces and juicy chicken in a warm tortilla. There are three flavors to choose from:
Sweet Chili Chicken McWrap – Sweet chili sauce, creamy garlic sauce, and sliced cucumbers. Chicken Bacon McWrap – creamy garlic sauce, bacon, cheddar jack cheese, and tomato. Chicken & Ranch McWrap – ranch sauce, seasoned rice vinegar, cheddar jack cheese, sliced cucumbers, and tomato.
There has been so much buzz around the new McDonald’s entrée line premium McWrap’s that I just had to try it! I’m a frequent McDonald’s visitor and have to get my mocha frappe, French fry, Crispy Southern Chicken Sandwich Combo or Grilled Chicken Cesar Salad fix! Oh… let me not forget the sweet tea! I love how I’ve seen the menu options change over time and added healthier meal options to offer McDonald’s customers. I’m usually pleased with the new selections. It’s so convenient to grab lunch from McDonald’s and know that I’m getting freshly prepared food whether it’s a Grilled Chicken Cesar Salad or Premium McWrap. This definitely puts a spin on the way we can enjoy fresh vegetables at McDonald’s. The Sweet Chili Chicken McWrap happens to be my favorite and its bursting with flavor! I don’t think I’ve ever had a tortilla with grilled or crispy chicken with spring greens, shredded lettuce and cucumbers. I love chicken fajitas but, I can’t say that the ingredients are exactly the same. I think McDonald’s is moving in the right direction with such great meal options!
I like the way the McWrap’s are packaged and clearly marked whether you have grilled or crispy chicken and which flavor you chose. This is an excellent choice for eating on the go! The McWrap’s are a convenient hand held entrée you can eat if you have only a few seconds to spare because I’ve definitely had days like that. I tend to maximize my lunch break by running errands and then I’ll grab lunch on my way back to the office.
