The Lenovo YOGA Book is definitely the perfect addition to my tech devices. This 2 in 1 is a great companion to my phone and laptop. It has an Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system with a Intel Atom x5 processor. I’m still getting use to the Halo Keyboard as I type this blog post. Artrage is my new favorite past time. It allows me to explore my creativity while learning the program. My favorite YOGA Book feature so far is being able to have multiple apps running on screen at the same time. When I am on my laptop or phone I am jumping in between tabs or apps to stay connected on multiple social media platforms. It makes multitasking an ease!
Having the convenience of three apps on the screen at the same time simultaneously is genius! I can Tweet, browse Facebook and Instagram at the same time. This will make live tweeting, Twitter parties and Facebook conversations so much easier to participate in. The YOGA Book comes with a Real Pen (with 3 ink refills) so that you can write directly on the surface or use your pad to digitize your notes. You can also draw and use art apps to create sketches and paintings. I usually draw my graphic tee ideas on paper then work in Photoshop from my rough draft. I’ll create them on my YOGA Book from now on. I’m really excited! Bonus: The Pad Magnetically attaches to your Tablet for convenience. It can work for your pen as well.
The Lenovo YOGA Book 2 in 1 weighs in starting at 1.52 lbs. The dimensions are 10.1†x 0.38†x 6.72†with a 10.1†FHD (1920 X 1200) IPS LED display with Capacitive Touch and AnyPen Technology. I’ve gotten so used to being on a touch screen that when I’m not one, I’m still trying to touch the screen and become disappointed. The speakers are loud and clear powered by Dolby Atmos Sound which is great when listening to music or watching movies. I love that I have up to 4G of RAM and 64 GB Memory with a microSD card slot that supports up to 128 GB. In between my Lenovo Phab 2 Pro & YOGA Book memory, I’m all set!
I believe everyone should have choices when it comes to the color of their tech devices. The YOGA Book comes in Carbon Black, Gunmetal Grey and Champagne Gold. The 360 hinge allows you to use it in four different modes. It’s Wi-Fi Wireless Capable and gives you up to 15 hours of battery life. You can get over 70 days of standby time. The battery is Li-ion Polymer with an 8500 mAh capacity. There are several sensors that make this tablet what it is! The halo keyboard is very sensitive. I changed my setting to medium instead of high to minimize me touching keys by mistake and changing settings. I had an experience where I changed the keyboard language. Easy fix once I realized what had happened!
Overall, the YOGA Book is a stylish lightweight device that I will carry for quick presentations, design mock ups, surf the web and to stay connected at all times. It’s good for the work and leisure lifestyle! Let me not forget to mention the camera. You get an 8 MP Auto-Focus Rear Camera as well as a 2 MP Fixed-Focus Front Camera. There’s also a HDMI port and headphone jack for accessibility. I love that the YOGA Book is an extension of my phone. It adds to my Android device collection with Google Assistant(s). Visit the Lenovo website for additional product and pricing information. Note: The YOGA Book is also available with a Windows Operating System.
