Disclosure: I received a Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro Ultrabook as a participating member in the Lenovo Insiders Program for review and BTS (Back to School) Campaign purposes, all opinions are solely my own.
I am a passionate graphic designer and lifestyle blogger that pulls creative inspiration from my surroundings and current events that take place in my life. Whether I’m at home, out in the community, or attending a social or networking event I share a lot of my experiences in real time on social media. When I received my Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro Ultrabook I was immediately in love. The clementine orange color popped and the design is amazing. I couldn’t wait to play with it and incorporate it into my daily lifestyle. Anyone who knows me can tell you I will preach about convenience. My time is precious and I’m a planner that sticks to schedules. I work FT in a career that I love, have four children, am married to my high school sweetheart and run a small business and lifestyle blog. All that being said… I want a device that can keep up with everything that I do, is portable, reliable and will get the job done. I’m always on the go and the Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro has lived up to it’s positive reputation while being flexible with four modes to meet my needs. The Yoga 2 Pro can be used in laptop mode, tent mode, stand mode and tablet mode. I can’t beat having a multimode Ultrabook!

Lenovo Motion Control allows you to do simple commands with your hands, Lenovo voice control allows you to ask questions or perform tasks by tell it what to do. One of my favorite features is the backlit keyboard that is ergonomically designed to make typing comfortable and minimize errors. I’ve used my backlit keyboard at 2:00 a.m. in the bed with all lights out to complete a blog post and I was pleased! The Yoga 2 Pro has also been awarded the Green Mark Certification due to Lenovo’s history of social responsibility, environmentally friendly manufacturing processes and low energy consumption. Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro is a WIN!
I have taken my Lenovo Pro 2 Ultrabook throughout my entire day and I was able to switch modes as necessary. I was able to take my six year old to the park and blog and surf the web in laptop mode while he played on the swing set with friends. I also went to visit my sister who has the cutest Pit Bull Mix named Pan who was also intrigued with my Lenovo Pro 2 while in tent mode. We started looking at birthday cakes for my four legged nephew because he will be three next month. It’s funny because he was able to swipe the screen and navigate what he wanted to see. I have a smart 4 legged nephew that likes cake! I love to look for design inspiration online and play with colors. I was able to use the Yoga Pro 2 in stand mode and play on the Adobe Kuler color wheel while dreaming up my next colorful design project. I also love reading blogs and posting on my social media platforms, I was able to do that in tablet mode while relaxing on my couch with the television running in the background. No matter where I am or what I am doing, I’m able to switch to whichever mode will best serve it’s purpose at that time. A bonus is that the screen flips around 360 degrees giving you the option of choosing which mode you want to use while locking the keyboard in place. Oh… let me not forget to mention the Bluetooth and WiFi capability, you can connect anywhere!
I’m such a visual person and the fact that the Yoga 2 Pro has a high resolution QHD screen 3200 x 1800 10-point multitouch display delivering awesome visuals is a huge bonus for me. I love looking at work that I’ve created on the screen and even looking at my lifestyle blog after I have published a post. This is one of the best experiences I’ve had with a laptop. I’d definitely recommend the Yoga 2 Pro to anyone looking for versatility, dependability and an awesome design. This is great choice for students going back to school! So… design and blogging is my passion and I am able to fulfill doing what I love on my Yoga 2 Pro Ultrabook. What is your passion? Do you think the Yoga 2 Pro Ultrabook can fulfill your needs? How would you use it and which mode do you think you’d like the most? Inquiring minds want to know. Check out the Lenovo website for additional information on the Yoga 2 Pro.
