It’s a blessing to be able to incorporate my family when I’m traveling for business to a fun destination. I get to work and play with a very organized schedule. Last month I traveled to Orlando, Florida for a conference. This is my second trip within the last two months and there was no way I’d go again without bringing the family. My family wouldn’t have let me live that one down. When I’m not traveling alone, I love to stay in suites that are fully equipped with multiple bedrooms, bathrooms, living room, kitchen, dining area with washer and dryer! This is exactly what you get when you stay at the Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa.
Staying at the Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa is like a home away from home! You can go shopping at the local grocery store and fill the refrigerator with snacks and food that you can cook at your leisure. They are condominium style suites that have one, two, three and four bedrooms. They are equipped with a fully stocked kitchen with granite counter tops, living room with sleeper sofa & flat screen TV, dining area with glass topped dining table, Jacuzzi tub in the master suite, private balcony and the convenience of a washer and dryer. The view from our private balcony was priceless and it overlooked the pool area. As a matter of fact take a look at my video on Instagram.
We stayed in a two bedroom, two bathroom 1080 square foot condominium styled suite that sleeps up to six people. We were comfortable and it was so spacious! The day we checked-In which was seamless by the way, I had a complimentary full body Tropical Island Massage scheduled with the Reflections Spa & Salon. It was super relaxing and my first full body massage. When you walk into the spa you are greeted by an associate, fill out some quick paperwork and are escorted to the dressing area where you will change into your robe and slippers. There are lockers to store your personal belongings. The massage lasts about 50 minutes.
The Massage Room was very inviting with dim lights, soothing instrumental music, environmental sounds and aromatherapy. I opted for eucalyptus scented oil for my massage. Reflections Spa & Salon offers massages, body treatments, facials, nail services, hair salon, boutique, princess makeover and pirate takeover. Once you are done you can jump in the sauna for a few minutes or take advantage of the shower facilities. I highly recommend getting pampered during your stay at the Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa. We drove down to Orlando and a full body massage after a nine hour drive is complete bliss!
My kids LOVED the Pirates Plunge Themed pool and hung out there most of the time. There are plenty of poolside lounge chairs, hammocks and a poolside tiki bar, Lani’s Luau. Additionally there is a second relaxation pool on the property as well with a couple of poolside Jacuzzi’s to enjoy. You are not short of luxury resort style living when staying at the Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa. You also have access to a 24 hr. Fitness Center, Convenience Store & Gift Shop, Pizza Hut Express, Game Room and staySky Kids Club. One evening we ate at Frankie Farrell’s Irish Pub & Grille conveniently located just a few steps away. The food was delicious and they have a great beer, wine and cocktail menu.
The Lake Buena Vista Factory Stores are within walking distance or you can drive if you aren’t quite in the mood to get your daily steps in. We visited the Factory Stores and did some shopping for swim wear and some summer style selections. The selection of stores is great from high end brands to your reasonably priced retailers. You also can get discount coupons to save up to 80% at select outlets every day. Lake Buena Vista Village Resort & Spa is a Disney Good Neighbor Hotel offering Theme Park ticket sales as well as scheduled shuttle service to major theme parks.
In conclusion to this wonderful vacation, I had a blast! I was able to get all my work done and set aside some quality time with my family and friends. Let me not forget to mention that I had the best rest on my comfortable King sized mattress and took the best showers. My nine year old son took over my Jacuzzi and enjoyed a bath bomb session. Must be nice! We were conveniently located near everything and just a mile away from the Disney Springs entrance where we spent some time dining out and shopping. We also caught a shuttle from Disney Springs to the Disney Theme Parks. Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa staff was super accommodating in addition to their superior customer service.
