It’s hard to believe that we are about to ring out the old and ring in the new year! I’ve have so many amazing opportunities and memories to share from 2014 and I look forward to an even better 2015! I know that life isn’t perfect and we will always have our ups and downs but, hopefully the positive outweigh the negative. I hope that everyone can take a moment and reflect on the year we’ve had and set goals to work towards in the coming New Year. I’ve had so many great 2014 moments but, decided to share the ones that came to mind first. Quote: “Learn from yesterday, live for today and hope for tomorrow.” I wish everyone a healthy and prosperous New Year!
.) Hands down I enjoyed every moment at the Niche Parent Blog Conference Walt Disney World this past October. The fact that I was able to bring my family so that they could enjoy the conference and scheduled activities was a HUGE bonus! It was our first visit the Disney!
.) My daughter’s AKA Debutante Cotillion Ball was Fabulous! We worked hard for months attending trainings, workshops, events and fundraising. This past November everything came together and all the debutantes were absolutely gorgeous and had an amazing event.
.) Princess #1 Road to college! My oldest daughter is a Senior in High School and watching her go on college tours, complete applications and get acceptance letters is awesome. I’m definitely a proud mom and can’t wait to see what the future holds for her.
.) I had an opportunity to participate in the Raleigh Food Lion Frugal Cook-Off and had a blast! I was able to re-connect with local bloggers that I know and meet some new bloggers in the area. I love meeting local bloggers and attending local blogger events.
.) I can really appreciate a well needed family getaway! In March we went to Myrtle Beach, SC to celebrate my husband’s birthday and had a great time. It felt so good to wake up early every morning and watch the sunrise. We enjoyed so many attractions and our condo was AWESOME!
.) I have a very rewarding job and love it! I received an award earlier this year for my ongoing commitment and dedicated service to my area. I wouldn’t trade what I do for anything. I’m definitely committed and dedicated to my Girl Scouts! #GirlScoutsRock
.) It warms my heart to be able to participate in community service projects and give back where and when I can. I’ve had the privilege of volunteering with the Ronald McDonald House of Durham, Social Media Ambassador for the Eastern North Carolina Food Bank and corresponding to holiday Santa Letters!
.) I don’t know when I’ll be able to say that I was in a 2015 Rolls Royce Phantom EWB Metropolitan again! The Saks Fifth Avenue Men’s Fashion Event was nothing short of top notch. The theme was “A Taste of New York” and took place at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Raleigh. The 2015 Rolls Royce Phantom was featured and it was love at first sight!
.) I must say that my blog and brand has grown this year and I have been able to participate in more blogger opportunities, join additional blogging networks as well as take on the blog ambassador role with a few GREAT brands. There is no where to go but UP from here!
.) I love when my family comes together! This past holiday season has been great and I loved seeing my family during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday. We don’t get to see each other that often but, when we do it’s great! I’m looking forward to seeing everyone again in June 15′.
