I think I have a thing for snake skin design! Last week for #FashionFriday I modeled a Red Snakeskin Corset Dress and today I’m rocking a Rose Gold Sequin top by Cecio, Gap Skinny Jeans and Taupe Snake Skin Pumps by Qupid. I scored my top from Flaunt Boutique, Jeans from The Gap and the pumps from Perfect Pair. I saw the rose gold top and had to have it in my closet! I think a pair of skinny jeans with the perfect top and pumps is the perfect outfit for almost any occasion. You can dress it up or tone it down!
I love this look because it can be versatile. I sometimes find myself in situations where I need to be either really dressed up or in a casual outfit for a more relaxed atmosphere. I love outfits that allow me to achieve the look I am going for by just adding, changing or taking away a portion of the garment. I can put a blazer on over this top and it would serve as a more business casual look. I can take the blazer off and attend an after work mix and mingle and take it on into the evening by changing the jeans, putting on a skirt and hitting the nightlife scene.
One thing that is super important to me is being able to change gears on the fly! I am in an office most of the day in business casual attire but, in the evenings I attend networking events and business socials. If it’s a Friday  or the weekend I may start the day attending a business seminar and as the day goes on attend a concert, have a girls night out, or go on a date with the Mr. I am always on the go and sometimes the events I attend are back to back and I have to be able to make a quick switch that suits the event dress code.
Now Let’s Talk Makeup with Tiwa Lawrence. For my face Tiwa prepped my face with complete comfort cream and applied prep primer Vibrancy eye cream under the eye. The she applied the following: Studio Fix Fluid Foundation in NC45, Studio Finish Concealer in NC 42, Mineralize skin finish in medium dark, Mineralize skin finish in dark deep to contour my face, style blush and prep + prime transparent finishing powder.
For my eyebrows: Urban Decay Primer Potion- Eden, Urban Decay Blackout Eyeshadow (to darken the crease), Jest eyeshadow (middle of lids), saddle and fig 1 (Outer lids and Crease and lower lids) and added embark to darken Crease, Milani liquify black pencil (in waterline) and Maybelline Ultra Liner in black (upper lashline).
For My Lashes: Tiwa curled my lashes and applied Studio fix lash Mascara and topped with I.Envy by Kiss Lashes in KPEM08
For My Lips: Lip conditioner, Morning Coffee Pro long wear lip pencil and Infinitely Likable Pro long wear lip glass.
