I’m totally loving my cute summer mini dress from Heritage Authentic Jamaican Wear. It’s 100% Cotton and so comfortable! It has the national Jamaican colors and was a gift from my aunt who came up to visit from Kingston, Jamaica! I’m all about my Jamaican Pride and hail from West Indian Parents! I’m wearing a pair of black wedges with some bead embellishments with my Heritage Authentic Jamaican Dress. Johnny J. Jones and I had so much fun doing this photo shoot. We were on location downtown Durham, NC by the train tracks. We had a few trains pass while we were shooting and got the instant diva fan resulting in great shots! My makeup is by Tiwa Lawrence owner of Pink Diamonds, she is an amazing makeup artist. Tiwa specializes in bridal makeup and has been featured in Essence Magazine. Tiwa loves to try new techniques and play with color. My primer and foundation are always the same so I’ll focus on my eyes & lips because we change that constantly. For My Eyes: Tiwa used Urban Decay Primer Potion, then OCC loose color in Poison (in the inner and outer lid and crease), for the middle of eyelids she used Magnolia makeup pigment in Plumes and Nigel’s beauty lashes #46.
