I was beyond excited when I got the opportunity to review the Sony WF-1000XM3 wireless noise cancelling stereo in-ear headset and WH-XB900N wireless noise cancelling stereo headset with Extra Bass. Both headsets have built-in Google Assistant and the WH-XB900N also has Alexa built-in. I LOVE Music and to be hands-free! This makes it so easy to use the smart assistant(s) while on-the-go and not have physically use your phone. Not to mention they’re user friendly and very convenient to have.
Setting up both wireless headsets was quick and easy! I downloaded the Sony headphones connect app on my phone and then was able to sync both devices via Bluetooth. You can seamlessly toggle in between both devices when using one or the other. The WF-1000XM3 is designed with HD Noise Cancelling Processor QN1e for high performance noise cancelling and high-quality audio. It has dual noise sensor technology captures ambient noise precisely with two microphones with a stable wireless connection.
You can enjoy hands-free calling with HD Voice, 10-minute charge and play up to 90 minutes. You get a maximum of 6 hours music playback time with Noise Cancelling on (up to 24 hours playtime with charging case). When Noise Cancelling is off you get a maximum of 8 hours music playback and (up to 32 hours playtime with charging case). It charges with a USB type cable. The charging case is compact and chic. I have the platinum silver color and it’s also available in black.
I enjoy being able to work while streaming music for my listening pleasure and be hands-free when using my Google Assistant or taking calls. The WH-XB900N wireless noise cancelling stereo headset has an overwhelmingly deep base and clear vocal. You can customize the sound effect and equalizer function with the Sony headphones connect app. The ambient sound mode imports ambient sounds and mixes them with music. I also love the convenience of adaptive sound control.
I can turn it on or off based on if I want to hear the sounds around me or cancel them out. I just love to blast my music with no interruption when I’m working. I can enjoy hands-free calling with HD Voice. 10 minutes of charge gives me up to 60 minutes of play. Music playback time gives me up to a maximum of 30 hours. I can utilize my voice assistant function and headset touch controls. It comes with a USB Type-C Cable, Headphone Cable and Carrying Pouch. It’s available in Black & Grey. I have them in black!
I enjoyed using both the WF-1000XM3 and WH-XB900N for different reasons. The earbuds are great for my day to day routine while on-the-go and the over ear headphones are so comfortable and great for travel and gaming. I am usually working, streaming music or watching a movie when I travel, and my son is notorious for gaming and watching YouTube videos at a loud volume. I’m usually asking him to use headphones so that I don’t have to hear it. Typical Boy Mom Life!
