I love to SAVE money and Walmart Family Mobile allows me to do that with the mobile plans they offer. I can have up to five lines on my account with a savings of $5.00 on each additional line. It’s $29.88/month (for the first line) Unlimited Talk, Text & Data service plan includes up to a gig of 4G LTE data. There is also an option for $39.88 for 3 gigs of 4G LTE service. I have three teenagers and we all utilize our phones in every way possible. My children all have their distinct personalities and it’s no different when it comes to how they choose to communicate and use their data. Princess #1 is always texting. I see her text and engage on social media more than I actually see her talking on the phone. Prince #1 loves to stream movies and music on his phone. Every time I look up he has his ear buds in and submerged in a move or song. He also runs track and it keeps him occupied when he’s traveling to track meets. He also uses Skype a lot to video chat with his friends. Princess #2 is always on kik and snap chat! I don’t even have those apps downloaded on my phone. That is the way she connects with her friends, she also loves watching YouTube videos and spends lots of time on Instagram. Me on the other hand will stay on top of my email throughout the day, text when I can’t talk and engage on social media.
I also have my notifications turned on so whenever I get an alert, I’m usually on top of it to see what it is and respond if necessary. I’m frequently driving around and my GPS is my saving grace on a daily basis. Sometimes I don’t know if I’d be able to get from point A to point B without my GPS Navigation System. I also have a full blown love affair going on with Google! It’s been going on for a while. I Google EVERYTHING! My Motto: “When in doubt, Google!” Lol! AND… last but, not least I take A LOT of pictures with my phone and text them to my mom. I upload them to Facebook Albums, update my Instagram account and save pictures to share in my blog posts. I’ve attended many events lately and all of them recorded by taking photos and video. My daughter attended her Senior High School Prom last weekend and you would think she’d give her phone a rest, NOPE! She was on her phone texting, talking and taking pictures. She even text me during prom to ask me to send her the pictures I took on my phone so that she could post them to her Facebook and Instagram accounts. She is also the princess of taking “selfies” and showcasing her makeup, fashion & style or hairdo on social media! I guess she’s a typical teenager! Overall, we all have our specific preferences in the way we use our data and the BEST part is that it doesn’t break the bank!

I should mention my seven year old who thinks he’s a teenager is always hijacking my phone to take pictures, make phone calls and record Glide videos to send his grandparents and also his dad while he’s working. He has also mastered taking a “selfie” which he got honestly from his siblings. I rarely take selfies! While everyone is using data I’m not paying an outrageous phone bill and we’re able to use our savings in other areas like travel and family fun activities giving us even more reason to use our phones because we love to document and share our fun times together.
I’ve shared how my family and I use our data in different ways. How do you and your family use your data? I can’t wait to see! Oh… I can’t stress enough that it’s great to be able to have such an affordable phone service that fits our budget and needs. Be sure to visit the Walmart Family Mobile website to check out their great phones and get additional service information.
