Disclosure: I’m a Carowinds Brand Ambassador (Caro Blogger) and received complimentary season passes to give you an all access experience to Carowinds. All opinions are mine alone.
I can’t tell you how excited I am about all the new attractions coming to Carowinds in 2016. After the initial media release about the addition of Carolina Harbor Water-park, Cirque Imagine and the 3,000 square foot Starbucks you would think that was it but, NO! There’s more! I’m REALLY excited about this new addition. Carowinds and PopCap Games which has created some of the best video game franchises will open the “world’s” FIRST intra-active 3-D game experience with Plants vs. Zombiesâ„¢ Garden Warfare: 3Z Arena in Spring 2016. It’s a great addition to the already awesome family line up that Carowinds offers. It’s also going to be for all ages, so you don’t need to worry about age restrictions or any exclusions. Carowinds shares that an intra-active experience means the game allows players to interact with the opposing team’s screen. Guests will step inside the state-of-the-art Plants vs. Zombiesâ„¢ Garden Warfare: 3Z Arena complex decked with 3-D technology, massive screens, surround sound and motion-based seats, to enjoy outrageous and imaginative encounters with their competition. Teams will compete in the Plants vs. Zombies Plants vs. Zombiesâ„¢ universe during an almost five minute backyard battle, where they’ll shoot screens with blasters and track their scores as they go.
I know that my family will LOVE this! We are a gaming family and gaming is a regular routine in our family fun time endeavors. We have “Game Night” on a weekly basis and are quite a competitive bunch. I can’t wait to play Plants vs. Zombiesâ„¢ Garden Warfare: 3Z Arena with my hubby and the “Fab 4”. All of this awesomeness will take place in a nearly 3,600 square foot arena. There will be 68 motion-based seats equipped with hand-held laser devices. You’ll be have two 14’6†x 26’ screens with independent 5.1 surround sound. The attraction will run approximately ten times per hour to accommodate between 600-700 people. Players will be able to purchase photos in the Plants vs. Zombiesâ„¢ Garden Warfare: 3Z Arena retail store. Plants vs. Zombiesâ„¢ Garden Warfare: 3Z Arena will be located inside the newly transformed Action Theater located in the County Fair section of the park. Guests will be able to play all season long by purchasing a 2016 season pass or renewing their current 2015 season pass for the lowest price of the year. For more information, visit carowinds.com. If you like to visit theme parks as much as my family, then Carowinds season passes is definitely the way to go. The holidays are upon us and they would make awesome stocking stuffers!
Carowinds is offering a holiday bundle right now for the holidays that gives you a savings of $41.00 on a ticket to the park, a tasty meal, parking and a full day of fun for just $49.00. There ia also a holiday special 2016 season pass promotion allowing you to pay six easy payments of $15.50, this offer ends on January 10, 2016. I personally think that season passes are worth every penny! I have four children and when we all go to the theme park it can be a costly adventure. You spend money on entry fees (per person, for me it’s x’s 6) and then have to factor in food, merchandise and games. There are some great perks and savings that definitely come with purchasing Carowinds Season Passes. I can tell you from my personal experience that having season passes saved me money on parking, dining and certain themed merchandise items. We also enjoyed SCarowinds and Dinosaurs Alive! at no additional cost. I loved the fact that you could purchase the 2015 souvenir bottle and enjoy free refills all season long. We really walked the entire park on several occasions and I definitely needed my thirst quenched frequently. You also have the option of free refills for a day and $1.00 refills all season long. Feel free to head over to the Carowinds website for more information. I’m already planning my 2016 Carowinds adventures!
