June is such a festive month in my home besides it being the end of the school year and beginning Summer Break. I celebrate my daughters birthday, graduations (on a milestone year), blogiversary and my wedding anniversary. I have four children. My oldest daughter recently graduated from High School! In addition to celebrating these special moments , June is a month that we start preparing for summer and all the fun things that come along with it. Travel, Cookouts, and Camping are a few fun summer activities to dive into. Why not a S’mores Party? You don’t have to wait for Birthday’s… Any day can be a S’mores Day!
I have a love for S’mores and make them quite frequently working for the Girl Scouts organization and growing up being a Girl Scout. I’ve been making S’mores for a while. My daughters are also Girl Scouts and they love to have outdoor fun and make S’mores too. We recently hosted a cookout to celebrate my daughter’s Birthday. We made Classic & Birthday Banana S’mores! It was super easy and done within minutes. We decided to use the grill and had a great time! We bought our Smore’s ingredients from Walmart. I love the everyday low prices and they were easy to locate on the in store display.
The Ingredients we needed to make tasty S’mores treats were Honey Maid Graham (exclusively at Walmart), Hershey’s Milk Chocolate and Kraft Jet Puffed S’moreMallows. S’mores make a great dessert! Feel free to get adventurous and add tasty ingredients to your S’mores. I added banana, sprinkles and Hershey’s Double Chocolate Sundae Dream to a few and they were delicious! We decided to use the grill and have a fun S’mores Fest! It was super easy and we were done within minutes. So, just in case you don’t know how to make S’mores… I’ve got you covered!
Directions: 1st you need your Honey Maid graham cracker squares with Hershey’s chocolate. (I made four at a time) 2nd Toast your Kraft Jet Puffed S’moreMallows using a long-handed fork. (I toasted them over a grill) you can also toast marshmallows over a hot camp fire. I like my marshmallow lightly toasted, I know to stop when it’s golden brown. Once your marshmallow is toasted, slide your marshmallow onto the chocolate. 3rd Cover your chocolate and marshmallow with another graham cracker and gently press them together. Now, bite into that wholesome square of yummy goodness and enjoy! How would you make your S’mores in 10 minutes or less?
