Everywhere I go, I see Googly Bands on the wrists of children. It’s definitely the new popular trend. Googly Bands are 100% silicone shaped rubber bands. You can stretch them, use them to hold items together, and they are an accessory on the arms of children all over! They come in assorted shapes, styles and colors and there are twelve pieces per package. I love that you can stretch them out and no matter what, they return to their original shape. The packaging is environmentally friendly made from OPP material and recyclable, which is GREAT for our green movement.
My children are Googly Band fans and my daughters wear them to match their outfits or choose a specific style to match their mood. They also use them as ponytail holders. I couldn’t believe it! My son wears them ALL, he doesn’t color coordinate and he trades with his friends to build his collection. They love the colors, shapes, and styles and they can never get enough of them. New styles are released frequently! If my children see a set that they don’t have they will do whatever is required of them, so they are able to ask me to buy them and I NOT say NO! Clever kids! Overall Googly Bands are AWESOME! They even have a text messaging style that I want for myself. Shhhhhh…
There are two events that I’d like to share with you:
Googly Bands is holding their first ever design contest. Winner will receive a $50.00 gift card and a chance to design the new style of Googly Bands. To get more information about this contest visit the Googly Bands website.
Googly Bands is officially retiring series 2 bands and to celebrate they are having an official retirement party today at 2:00 p.m. PST it will last an hour. There will be tons of prizes! Party will take place at Googly Bands Facebook Page. Hope to see you there!
I am also amazed at how they appeal to both pre-teens, tweens and teens!! They cut across ages 7-17 – it’s amazing!
Thanks for the info on the contest!!

Hi Jen — stopping by and following from MBC!
My husband is a PE teacher for K-8 grades — he even has some of these bands given to him from his students! They love to trade and collect them. 😀

It’s funny how you can go without being aware of something, and then suddenly it’s popping up everywhere! I had never heard of Googly bands until yesterday when my daughter and I were shopping. We picked up a bag to share with her friends when we met up at the park later that day. And wouldn’t ya know it, blog reading this evening I came across your post. Fun!
