Disclosure: I’m a Carowinds Brand Ambassador (Caro Blogger) and received complimentary season passes to give you an all access experience to Carowinds. All opinions are 100% honest and completely my own.
Fall is here and it’s one of my favorite seasons. There is so much to do and so many great festivals to take advantage of. Last year my family had a ball at the Great Pumpkin Fest and we can’t wait to experience it again this year along with some NEW activities. The Great Pumpkin Fest takes place in Planet Snoopy on Saturdays & Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. September 17th through October 30th. My children’s ages are spread out 20, 18, 16 and 8 years old. We all have fun; it’s great for all ages!
There are a couple of NEW Great Pumpkin Fest activities like “The Monsters Are Coming Charlie Brown” Charlie Brown and Friends will show off their favorite costumes while singing along to some kooky tunes. “Halloween Hullabaloo” will be digging up some frightful Halloween favorites in their family oriented musical revue of Halloween hits! Peter the talking pumpkin is back and seems to be a hit! The children can chat with peter, the prize winning pumpkin, throughout the day.
The Great Pumpkin Fest is the ultimate kids party and children can dress up in their favorite costume and take part in the daily kids costume parade, go trick-or-treating, visit with their favorite barn yard animals and more. Celebrate 50 years of “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” with screenings of the 1966 animated television special based on the Peanuts comic strip, along with the reading of the classic book in PEANUTS Showplace. If you haven’t experienced The Great Pumpkin Fest, what are you waiting for?
Next Up… my FAVORITE Spooktacular event at Carowinds = SCarowinds! This event is for the thrill seekers who love a good scare. You can discover what horror really is on select nights Friday through Sunday beginning at 7:00 p.m. September 16th through October 30th. There are a couple of NEW attractions like “Dark Harvest” thrill seekers will test survival skills while navigating through a two story barn and corn field. Staying too far from the path could mean a “dead” end!
E.H. Bailey’s Psycho Circus is another new attraction to enjoy. Ladies & Gentlemen, step right up! See members of this traveling circus featuring everything from hobo clowns to circus performers to escaped animals. Back by popular demand is Blood Drums. Get ready for an explosive blend of high-energy junkyard grunge music! SCarowinds is recommended for ages 13 and up, and features more than 15 unnerving live shows, mazes and scare zones that will have guests cowering through the night.
Giveaway: I have the opportunity to giveaway (5) Tickets to Carowinds Great Pumpkin Fest! Tickets are good until Sunday October 30th, 2016. Giveaway will end on October 17th, 2016 at 11:59 p.m. Good Luck! I hope you get a chance to experience Carowinds during this Spooktacular season.
We wanted to do this last year but didn’t get to go! Hopefully we’ll get another chance! 😀
We have never been to Carowinds during Halloween or any other time. That is why we are so excited. I would bring my husband and our three kids. My youngest is 8 and really loves heights, roller coasters and Halloween!
This would be such a blast to share on my blog after we go. We love Carowinds.
I have not been to Carowinds dyring the Halloween season. Sounds fun and I would love to go with my husband, daughter, and her 2 cousins.
Great giveaway!
I have not but would like to take my girls . Thank you!
I hate to admit this BUT we have lived here in North Carolin for nearly 9 years and have not been to Carowinds YET! I would love for our first trip to be for one of my favorite times of the year. We love Halloween and being able to visit with my entire family would be amazing. I would definitely take my Kiddies as well as my Teenager for a day full of Spooktacular fun! 🙂
