What about the authentic African American cuisine @ Roy’s country kitchen where you can get pecan pie with Hersey’s kisses in the bottom, and a dessert called delight that is so delightful to eat. Also there the classic ” The Chicken Hut” where the vegetables will get your attention and you can get meatloaf with red or brown gravy. They are minutes apart on Fayetteville Street in Durham, and only do lunch and breakfast on Saturdays. Both have excellent food and almost always have history makers and future history makers as regular customers.
